More than nine billion people leave on Alderan IV, the capital world of the Elonis Sector, but only a third of them can be bear the name of their founder, their planet and Domain. Such title does require for one to be able to prove its ascendency to one of the thousands of noble houses, ruling the land since the days of the Elonian Reunification. Though other Alderans rule over the rest of the Domain, the population of the Capital World have always consider themselves to be first among equals... if not even more than that, and use the term "Capitals" to set themselves apart from the vastly more numerous houses ruling over distant stars.

Tall and slender due to the soft gravity of their world, Alderans take pride of being as close as possible to the traditional standards of beauty of the classic heroes. Deep blue eyes, rich dark hair and an upright posture set them aside from others. They will often make a point of moving with a military precision and enforcing their domination among any group of people.
Most Capital Alderan look down on extravagant attire, favouring unified color-scheme and limiting their jewellery and accessories to artefacts of status, heraldry insignia and religious figures.

Due to the prestige any Capital benefits from, it is not uncommon for ducal families, from all over the domain, to come and court even lowly Houses from the motherworld.
Capitals are extremely jealous of their titles and history and will almost never consent to a union risking the extinction of their name, and the Gift they benefit from the Council ensures that even most Counts or Baronesses can easily find a suitor for the most remote relatives of their families.
Idéaux de Relations
Attraction between individuals is socially seen as a degraded form of attachment when compared to love to one's children, to one's House or to the Domain. Sexual desire in particular is publicly seen as a deviation from the noble reproductive act. As such it is not expected, and not necessarily well viewed for spouses to be in love, or even to share the same room.
Platonic relationship, to a spouse or to a friend, are on the other hand accepted, regardless of genre. Emotional and intellectual affinity are seen as a ground from which might stem strength, confidence and ideas can arise.
As sexual impulses are an unavoidable part of the human condition, frequenting vulgar sex workers is seen as a normal act of an Alderan's life, though it is not recommanded to limit oneself to only one such partners to avoid unwanted feelings.
