There is no place like the Capital system... It's not the most populous of the domain, nor the most powerful or cultivated... but there is a history to it. Géographie
The Alderan System is home to four Telluric planets and twelve massive moon orbiting its lone gas giant. Human settlement can be found on all of those main land masses as well as on countless space stations and minor asteroid mining facilities.
The two most inner planet of the system are scarcely populated and mostly serve as penal colonies for unruly trainee of Bellis Orba or traitorous great house. Their limited mineral resources have been long exhausted and they would have been abandoned thousands of years ago if not for their location in the system.
Elysia , the third planet of the system, is the tomb world of all Alderan Houses since the days of Forus Alderan. Each day, hundreds of ships dock in one of the many mortuary shipyard surrounding it, unloading thousands of corpses, family members and visitors. From space one can see the two sides of Elysia : light and dark, fire and ice, death and elevation...
Euroa or Alderan IV is the capital world of the whole Domain and the first of its habitable zone. Slightly smaller than Holy Terra, the Capital World managed to keep a preserved environment of ancient forests and clean oceans. Its vast cities of marble can be spotted from orbit, their clear cut organisation a direct challenge to Nature to try and resist the Alderan order.
Orbiting over the Capital World, as a dark watchdog is Temperis Moon , the overt lair of the secret Ordo Praetor and many of the Inquisitors of the Domain.
Techeran or the First Alderan Forge is the fifth planet of the system and lies at the verge of the habitable zone. Where Euroa remains mostly pristine, with only its city telling away the influence men had on it, Techeran is a sphere of metal, surrounded by three orbital rings and enclosed in thick fogs coming up from its forge. The space surrounding the planet is always buzzing with activity as its massive shipyard produce new vessels, repair some others and disassemble the old one in a never ending cycle of creation and destruction.
The moons of Bellis Orba are the furthest densely populated celestial bodies of the system. Orbiting around an immense Gas Giant, each of the moon serves as a gigantic academy for one class of Alderanean or Evens at a time. Under their domes are new generations trained to protect, lead and improve the domain. Each year sees billions of new students join Bellis Orba, and the say is that no-one ever leaves the same as they entered.
Beyond Bellis Orba lay the fringes and their vast array of asteroids, dwarf planets and military stations, providing the Forge with the resources needed for it to burn, and the thousands of ship travelling through the system with the safety they need.
