The Element

It's the year 3000. The turn of the century. Humanity has taken its first steps into a wider galaxy, and found they were not alone in their sapience. Fast, efficient space travel is only possible with the help of a rare element, known as Flectetium, and with it, space has become the newest frontier.   The Element is a hard sci-fi universe created by Alyssa Katze to use for novels, novellas and short stories. All technology in The Element, (besides those that use flectetium,) is based on current designs, or theoretical science. This wiki is updated sporadically, so please don't expect regular additions.
