Session 10: Common Foes Report
General Summary
The session started with the players seeing the bandit who they captured in a stockade, being bombarded with rotten fruits and vegetables by angry villagers. They took him back for questioning and figured out some more information about him and his bandit gang. They headed to the location of the camp and on the way were ambushed by a group of the bandits, equipped with firework mortars and shields with fireworks attached to the them, doing a lot of damage to the party.
They found their way to the camp and found it to be empty, seemingly having packing up to leave. They found a note saying that if anything went south, they should head back to a fort. The party did not investigate any further.
The party then headed to Marcroix, where on the way they encountered road wardens who searched their cart and then went on their way after not finding anything. They arrived at Marcroix where they found themselves at the "Red Moon Inn" which is owned by a friend of Aes and Zeal, Sofru. They talked for a bit and ordered some drinks, and soon saw a group of 5 people, who looked liked mercenaries or adventurers, consisting of a Goliath, Young Human Male, Young Human Female, an Old Human male and a Middle Aged Human Female. The first three seemed to be peeking over to the party, snickering and laughing at them for seemingly no reason. Zeal snuck up on them and intimidated them, making them uncomfortable and quickly leaving afterwards. The middle age woman came over to them, and introduced herself as Doralia Ven Denst, taking interest in Zeal, saying that he seems familiar to her. She soon left, going with the rest of her group.
Later on, Orion's friend, who introduced herself as Reima, arrived at the Inn, and meeting with Orion. They talked for a while before Orion introduced the rest of the party to her. She informed them that they would be going to a tomb the next day, where they would find an artefact or knowledge in which they could use.
