The Earth of Northern Legend

10,000 years in Earth's future, humanity has wiped its slate clean again and again through nuclear fire. No one knows how many times humanity has sent itself back through war, but they do know that the technology left by their ancestors is still there for them to find and make use of. Despite this, history tends to repeat itself in the most unusual ways, and despite having the world going through a similar time as our 1870s, plasma weaponry, hover-bikes, and other technological wonders are as commonplace as a cigarette.
