The Dragons' Chain

Far from mankind's smoke-filled cities and petty conflicts, there is a land ruled by the mysterious race of dragons. For decades, the dragons have been content to live in isolation, only opening their borders for the most honored of guests. Now, a new king and queen have ascended to the twin thrones of their nation, and opened the borders of their country for trade.   One of the first groups to enter the dragon lands is Marc Termane, renowned scholar and powerful Alchemist, along with his traveling companion, Janice Fremt. He arrives in this land desiring nothing more than knowledge and possibly a little bit of fame and wealth, but when he's implicated an attack on the king and queen themselves , things get a lot more complicated.   Now Marc and Janice have to deal with suspicious dragons, oddly fawning kobolds, magical artifacts, and an unfolding scheme executed by their own rulers.
