Alex leaves Los Angeles and completely disappears from the world's eye.

Alex leaves her life in L.A. behind to stay at her great-grandmothers' old cabin in Michigan. While there she repairs the house with the help of the neighbor Eddy. The two of them later separate due to Alex bringing up trauma from Eddy's past and him almost killing her.
