Alex joins a group of horse riding outlaws in the midwest.

Alex joins a group of horse riding outlaws known as the Van der Linde gang. They consist mostly of teens and young adults following two older adults, Dutch Van der Linde, and Hosea Matthews. They live on the run from a semi-federal agency and private law enforcers for the rich called The Pinkertons. Here she meets lifelong friends Sadie Adler and Arthur Morgan.
