Personal history

Family: Raised by her mother, and maternal grandmother in Missouri in a female community that allowed boys up to the age of 10 years old. Her father lives in Iowa, but she did not visit him often. Siblings: 1 sister who died at the age of 12 from drowning in a river dam. Childhood Lifestyle: Middle class; she attended an all-female private school that focused on raising Valkyrie candidates. Childhood:  Origin: Motivation: Both Ae's mother and grandmother attempted to join Merci's and Dixon's Valkyries respectively, but did not succeed. Her family puts pressure on her to join the Valkyries despite her self-doubt in her abilities. Personality: By nature, Ae has always been easygoing and patient. History: Ae is poached from another Valkyrie candidate team by Clarke and Adora. Her mother and grandmother are extremely proud of her and encourage her to spend every possible second she could with Clarke. Despite her efforts, she and Clarke are the most distant pair on their team as they don't have anything in common.
When the change in leadership occurs, Ae is neutral and doesn't side with either Debicki or Adora, not that her opinion would have mattered either way.
