Personal history

Aldermellow was born from the spell that Jokaster Ermenred and Elean Taler created. He led the Treetalers in battle but fell in battle, shortly after the scale balanced heavily towards Aell.
A story tells of how Elean gathered the ashes of Aldermellow and used them to plant another tree, far into the forest, away from prying eyes. The same story also says how Elean, when came time for him to die, he chose to do so on the roots of Aldermellow to remain with his friend for all eternity.
There have been reports of a walking tree that is accompanied by a small twig-like creature. They have been nicknamed as Aldermellow & Splint and they are said to protect those who are in danger in their forest. The tree is said to remain silent at all times but those who touch the little creature can hear whispers in their minds, about tales of old and warnings of the future. However no Warden has ever managed to find any proof to substantiate these claims.
