The Darkmoon Vale

13th of Rova, 4708

On the full moon why’d we go?
Cold light witness all my woe
Oh, Spirit of the Water
Oh, Please forgive me lover
Miles and miles still on my feet
Nevermore lay down to sleep
Cannot from our dream awake
To the twilight we shall take
  I’m a dead man walking
I’m their puppet walking

  • Excerpt from “Falcon’s Hollow,” a popular folk tune.
  • Andoran, the birthplace of democracy and a melting pot of radical ideas, has long been seen as a nation full of troublemakers and upstarts attempting to force their ideology on the surrounding nations, particularly those of Cheliax, Katapesh, and Thuvia. Yet within the seat of the fledgling democratic nation lies a blacker heart than outward appearances let on.   This campaign takes place in Falcon’s Hollow, a small lumber community in the Darkmoon Vale region of Andoran. Little can be found here besides sawdust and sweat, and many of its inhabitants are dismal and downtrodden folk who care for little more than their paltry wage and the simple comforts available to them.
This campaign page may spoil portions of certain Pathfinder Modules, particularly Crown of the Kobold King, Revenge of the Kobold King, Carnival of Tears, and others. Do not read too thoroughly if you’re planning on playing in any of these.   Information provided in this primer may not precisely match that of official Paizo content on the subject of Falcon’s Hollow, the Darkmoon Vale region, and its original characters.
