Nuggie

A mysterious soldier who is hardier than any normal man. Found on the battlefield mostly dead but saved by heroes, he became a new man. He forgot about everything he had lost and focused only on his hate for those who had taken everything from him. He fought alongside the brave heroes who saved him, but was caught up in an accident. Unknown to the heroes, he survived the almost certainly fatal explosion. He crawled away from the destroyed town and disappeared into the wastes, only to be mentioned in whispers and revered as "The Marked Man".

Some of the people in the deadlands revere him as a true god who will cleanse the world of undead. They aim to spread word of him throughout the lands but it is hard to do so when so little is actually known of him.

The people in the bigger cities tell stories of "The Marked Man" and his endeavors. He is said to have single handedly defeated three powerful vampires simply because they knew the name of the man who had killed his family.
