The cylinder's library Oldest representation

3700TR

The oldest visual representation of the Merinos Library that has been dated. While several similar old documents have been found, their dates have generally not been confirmed.

The following document is a copy of the representation. The document itself, dating from the 3,700 AR, shows an entirely excavated set of cylinders, similar to the ones that are still visible from afar in the library.   Two main points were raised upon the finding of the document : firstly, this date weakens the "Kunskaper theory", that the Library was built after the story of the First Librarian. Indeed, it is generally accepted that the historical basis for the story of the Kunskaper is necessarily posterior to the first permanent settlements in the Merinos region, which are from the 3,500s. However, if such a massive structure as the one represented already existed a mere two hundred years after these first settlements, it seems very unlikely that the structure was built by the inhabitants of the region, given their limited means.   The second point raised by the document is related to the external cylinders of the structure : Indeed, the whole library seems much higher than what was thought by the Guild. What is more, some additionnal cylinder and towers seem to exist, that are unknown of by the library at the moment. Do these structures exist?
