Good morning. This is NPR News, I'm Nigella Parker

President Uma Scaduto visited with Prime Minister Tetsuya Kubo of Japan this morning for her current diplomatic trip. It is expected that they will discuss trade agreements as well as the continuing efforts to expand on the International Martian Colony. Both the U.S. and Japan have indicated how favorably their shared resources has aided the research on Mars, and are now considering additional assistance from the European Union. Reports from the Martian Researchers indicates that all scientists and technicians are currently under friendly terms but are unable to share all research results with each other due to the classified nature of some of the technology in use.

The Anti-Slavery Summit on The United Korea Peninsula ended yesterday, yet diplomats and activists from around the world gathered in Seoul this morning in a meditation for peace movement. Led by Rose Balazs of the Renewed Railroad, the act is said to be the largest demonstration of its kind on the international level. The meditation aimed to gain attention to the estimated 6 million people around the world who are still living in bondage. Participants included Senator Oscar Valle of California and actor Anthony Olatunji, who specifically said he look forward to quote "removing the sickness from the shores of the Americas." The Summit was started in 2077 and is held every January to mark the infamous Founding Day Disappearances in Trumpland.

Reports are now in that former Cheif Executive of Fuyao Beimei Na Dong is settled back in her home in the Fuqing county of China. She has addresses the local press that she and her husband Isaac Kwong will be staying in China for at least a few months before going back to nation. She's expected to meet with local investors as well as the current leadership in the company located in Fuqing. There are conflicting reports on whether Dong wishes to speak to leadership about the recent vote to have Tao Lin become her successor. Earlier predictions expected Hallie Kwong, Dong's niece, as the heir apparent. Dong has not spoken publicly on her preference, and even recently stated that she trusts the investors have the best intentions for everyone touched by Fuyao's influence. Lin has already worked on improving the international perception of the nation. He has invited producers from Snippets, the Amazon news provider, this week. No word from Amazon or Fuyao on the goals of this quick partnership.
