The Consecrated Dominions of Demiurge

Blest art those Principalities, Duchies, Republics, States, Democracies, and Kingdoms of the Consecrated Dominions, founded in Piety and for the sake of all men across the Galaxy! The great predominant pillar of authority within the Dominions is the great governing theocracy centered around the Ethereal Prelatorium and the Profane Ascendants, meant to check the power of the assembled Lords, Citizens, and Senators in the Chamber of Electors and, of course their leader, the Potentate.   The Dominions were forged from the splinters of the long lost human empire of Orbis, which had dissolved multiple millennia ago when, by what records remain, its seat of power was shattered. The resulting disunity amongst the fickle humans lost many of the old customs, traditions, and records of the before times. The Dominions attempt to recapture the old glory of Humanity's old Hegemony...   The Dominions only constitute a fragment of the old empire themselves, only two of the galactic arms. However, the Dominions are truly the successor of the old Hegemons! They have within them unified many great states and duchies of men! None so great and venerable as the principalities of Noric or, of course, the new seat of power, Umbria. However, there is one Kingdom of note in an older part of the dominions, the Kingdom of Vlastmecir. Positioned at the crux of multiple important trade routes and bordering several of the Dominions neighbors, Vlastmecir has been gaining prestige. In the last century, the Prelates have even granted it a local Exarchy.   Into this world, Kaspar ush Kaziz is thrust. His heresy will shake the Dominions to its core.
