Pobeda

Pobeda, meaning Victory in Russian, was the name given to New York after the invaders conquered the area. After the dust had settled on New York, the military quickly set up a base to secure their territory. Initially this base was called Fort Pobeda and it was just a simple fortification. However, as is the usual, military bases eventually need routine supplies to survive, and people soon began flocking to the base to set up shop. A majority of the first citizens were either colonists from Canada and Russia or refuges from New York just surviving. Within a few years, the economy around the base was thriving and Pobeda went from being a military fortification to an entire metropolis.
As the United States fell with little resistance, it wasn't long before both invaders found themselves sweeping across her lands. The leaders of Mexico, Canada, and Russia realized that eventually they might dispute over the territories they had gained and wanted to avoid another war. Relations were favorable at the time, as each side had provided support to one another during the invasion, so the time was ripe to discuss the future.
Given the reasons Canada had sided with Russia against the United States in the first place, its leaders quickly "decided" to allow itself to be absorbed by Russia and become a single nation. The entire territory of Ontario and a vast portion of the North Eastern United States was consolidated and became New Ontario .
Meanwhile in South America, The Peoples Army Of Brazil , a radical rebel army that overthrew the government of Brasil, had risen to power and having conquered most of the continent, was now sweeping north.
Mexico now found itself in the same position the United States had been in, with the exception of a dramatically lower defensive force. A Russian nation that was now twice as powerful made Mexico a deal it couldn't refuse; "Join us or be destroyed."
This would be the beginning of The Supreme Russian Empire .
When The Covenant finally emerged from the shadows, Pobeda was their first target. It was completely eradicated almost overnight without casualty to the invaders, when an unknown bio-weapon was released on the city, rapidly spreading throughout the whole territory of New Ontario.
Pobeda was no more.
