Kanio

Kanio is the only known moon of the planet of Khannh. It is a very small moon with no athmosphere or native species.
The moon is known for the Kanio Anomaly, which is a unique visual anomaly by which the moon can often appear disfigured or in unusual ways to the naked eye. These unusual visions are directly related to the planet's thick athmosphere, the high intensity of the system's two suns, and multiple other causes.
The most common of these is the seemingful random appearances and disappearances of the moon through its path across the sky. It has also been registered to have an apparent transparency or cloudyness of its image when viewed from the planet's surface, and some report having sighted doubled, trippled, or even quadruppled momentary simultaneous images of the moon.
All of these have been explained through various theories involving athmospheric optics, light reflection of the moon's image on the planet's large semi-homogenous deserts, and through various explanations of trans-semirelativeness origins. The duplication of the image remains as the one phenomenon with the least evidence, as some narrate occasions where patters of these reflections have not followed any logical patterns, with some sources pointing to reflexions on the various deserts and plains of the planet, and some explaining their different transparencies due to extreme heat variations across said expanses, with some deserts having been linked to specific reflections. One of them, the Doobi Desert, with a recognizable reddish tone, has been linked with several instances of a reflection of the moon with reddish tone, seen from towns like Kahe, Hora, and Kolia.
Despite all these scientific evidences, the moon has been the core of a large majority of Khannh's religious faiths for millenia. This phenomenon has been called a natural wonder by many, and has promoted a lot of naturalistic tourism to the planet.
