Roshiebosk Heart

Roshiebosk are large shaggy goats living in the lands of the Yevelian Ringpeaks which are hunted by the Tunvavvaki for their meat and pelts. When a person comes of age in that culture, they must prove their worth to their  by hunting such a Roshiebosk. They must venture into the wilderness and kill the animal alone, retrieving its heart to be eaten upon their return.

Execution

After a successful hunt, the newly-minted member of the returns with their kill, and the village celebrates in a raucous atmosphere. During which the new member consumes the heart whole using their Aradi'upa with which they hunted it. The beast's heart is notably foul-tasting, and part of the ritual is to make sure they can keep it down.

Components and tools

Before they set off on their hunt, the parents of the would-be member give them an Aradi'upa, which is the only weapon they may use to kill their prey.

Observance

Each hunt is done in groups of typically ten aspirants to join the . Each aspirant must receive the blessing of their family, but once each has and ten are gathered, they venture into the wilds of The Ringpeaks. Most return in under a week, but some take longer, and some do not return at all.
