The Cluster

Somewhere outside the fabric of reality exists a loose collection of world fragments linked by mysterious teleportation chambers. These chambers are typically well-hidden or difficult to reach, but these world fragments often hold strange and mysterious similarities. In the middle of this cluster lies a small fragment known only as Axis Mundi, and at thee middle of that fragment grows the world tree. A mysterious organization has taken it upon itself to police this cluster of worlds, and to keep an ancient evil sealed away. Prophecies speak of the day that entity will return, but where, when and how are not entirely clear. Yet.
