Rebuilding
It's been well over a century since the Event as it is now known, when most of North America at least was consumed by the conflagration of nuclear fire. Yet large swathes of territory were unmarred by this catastrophe and those who survived were left with one choice: rebuild or die.
A New Society
Over the last century much has changed culturally, linguistically, socially. In what was the north western United States a new society, Dizled, has gradually evolved and risen. Theirs is a highly ordered and structured way of life, a stark contrast and perhaps reaction to the chaos that immediately followed the Event. If anyone has fully adapted to their new world and found their place in it, it is them.
The Threat of War
Over the last few years rumors of an industrial, conquest-bent, and ruthless faction from the east have reached the Dizleden. And then the first scouts of the Shi Industrial Nation were spotted in Dizled. The Dizleden are no strangers to war, but if half of what they have heard of the Shi is true, they may not stand a chance.
