The Church of Tiamat
The church of Tiamat has had a presences on Traith since early in the first age it has risen to prominence on more than a few occasions through the ages but never being able maintaining for any long period of time. Tiamat the undying Queen, Queen of the Chromatic Dragons has been revered by many cultures on Traith through the millennia for many of them more out of fear that actual reverence.
In the third age when Zarpurazz used the Draith Amulet to trap many of Traith's deities and steal the power for himself Tiamat was one of those unlucky to be trapped. While Tiamat was imprisoned many of her progeny used this time to flourish without the greedy watchful eyes of the Undying Queen looking over them. Some took this opportunity to expand their bloodline by mating with select humanoid races. This is when the first Draconic Houses were established.
Divine Origins
The origins of the church of Tiamat began in the First Age when a devot follower in the form of the ancient White Dragon known as Whyrrmvrax the Frostwing escaped the cataclysmic event that destroyed her homeworld. Along with her Spawn of Tiamat servants Whyrmvrax quickly established her territory in the frozen lands of Marthepp.
Tenets of Faith
All Chromatic Dragon must pay homage to their mother.
Humanoid worshippers are to pay homage to her first and them to all chromatic dragon especially the ones she hold in high regard.
Only the strong will hold power and all others are to be subjugated and brought to heel.
Political Influence & Intrigue
In the Kingdom of Tepth where several of the Draconic Houses have strong roots there are shrines scattered throughout the land, the Draconic House won't out right challenge the crown for control of Tepth but they are bidding their time for they day they can, and will.
