The Nine Necromancers have performed extensive studies on the crystal over the ages and have discovered these green crystals can be used as a power source. A universal power source that not only fuels arcane and divine magics but also psionic power as well.
Others whos are well versed in these crystals speculate that they may be able to be used as a power source in future technologies. As of now though these crystals still have many uses and many yet still undiscovered only time will tell how valuable these crystals may become.

These green crystal like all the crystals of the Crystal Downs are smooth to touch..It was recently discovered that it is only the green crystals that produce a radiant illumination and that when in their native environment that this radiance leaks over the the other two colors of crystals.

Only within the last twenty years have mind's of Nithrikmar really put more effort into the research of the green crystals. They are regretful that they hadnt put much as much effort into the endeavor much sooner. They acknowledge that had research been allowed centuries earlier it could have possibly changed the entire landscape of history.
