Alpha Centauri is the center of the Human Unionized Empire (HUE)'s trade operation. It has beautiful open fields and massive bustling cities. It is the capital of the HUE's empire, and the first extra-terrestrial planet ever colonized by humanity.

Demographics

Most who live outside the massive cities are wealthy and rich. Most people inside the cities are middle class or lower.

Alpha Cen is heavily defended by hundreds of orbital stations that act as army bases for quick troop or ship deployment to a certain sector.

Industry & Trade

Alpha Cen exports luxury materials such as Hexium plating, spaceship armaments, Hexium drives, and other high demand Hexium goods. Although the main export from Alpha Cen is the extremely high demand electronic devices as such would go on spaceships. As a result, most of the middle-class inhabitants privately ship out these goods which are made in factories owned by the rich. The HUE takes a percentage of earnings from these private shippers. But mainly HUE owned shipping firms export most items.

Infrastructure

Most of Alpha Cen are massive cities with millions living in them although they all have a large space in between them. In that in-between space mostly are solar farms, small private residences and the homes of the rich.

Guilds and Factions

Alpha Cen is purely controlled by the HUE and its senators and governors. Some mafia groups and crime syndicates have formed however which control independently some poorer parts of Alpha Cen.

History

In 1973 NASA later becoming the HUE colonized Alpha Cen with the help of the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Japan, China, Canada, and Belgium. In 1979 after the great colonization effort was fully completed, construction of small settlements and cities started. By the end of 1983, ten massive cities had been created and people started to inhabit them, and many more were in the works. Between 1973 and 1985 extremely helpful hexium devices were being built, making construction easier and space travel more efficent.

Architecture

A melting pot of cultural architecture had been developed over time, from modern Swedish architecture to Japanese type buildings all built into massive towers in each city.

Mostly flat plains with some thick forests.
