Loverli, the Honeymoon Planet

The hatch doors of the cruise ship hissed open, haggard tourists stepping out one by one as they lined up in along the near pitch black landing platform. Concerned murmurs and annoyed couples bickering quickly filled the vacuum of space they appeared to be trapped in as the door, and only source of light, shut behind them. Concern was on the precipice of becoming panic until finally, a beam of light thundered overhead, followed by another, and another. Each light outlined a large stage right before the group, with an odd silver pole gleaming at its center. Before another word could be spoken among any of them, a spine tickling, feminine chuckle drifted among their ears. 
"Welcome darlings, did you enjoy the cruise~?" A deep, feminine voice purred from above as a winged shape descended daintily onto the state, bowing before her audience before extending her arms and wings outward, a lecherous smile spread across her dark purple lips. "Allow me to formally welcome you to Loverly, a place where your wildest dreams can come true~" The black-winged woman spun with a flare, now facing the pole behind it as her hands clasped it carefully, hugging it to her chest as she danced gracefully around it, twirling and leaning toward the audience, blowing kisses to a lucky few. The audience itself was entirely mesmerized, any stress they had gained during their voyage here melted the instant they watched the angelic woman's hypnotic dancing, not a single individual among them making so much as a cough, lest they interrupt this entrancing performance. 
"Now... The planet is yours to enjoy!~" The woman finally wrapped a leg around the pole, stopping herself perfectly in place as her free hand and wing pointed stage left, a blinding light filling the small performance area. When their eyes adjusted, the tourist group would bask in a sight just as entrancing as the woman before them. A lush, dense island with flowing wildlife was laid out before them, a perfectly white beach just off in the distance, matched beautifully with a crystalline lake that shined in the midday light. Down the golden walkway before them lay a large town center bustling with life and joy, while an immaculate golden spire rose from the horizon, perfectly outlining the scenery before them. 
"And remember to always love each other~"

Government

Loverly is lead by a millennia old monarchy. The Omura family has presided over all of the planet's political and business proceedings ever since they declared royalty, when the first King in the Omura lineage saved the entire planet from impeding doom at the hands of an Anomaly. As such, the Omura family line is also tasked with protecting the entire planet, and ensuring the Anomaly that threatened them those many years ago remains safely sealed. After an untimely death of the most recent queen, the only remaining heiress to the Omura family and daughter to the original queen was declared to be the successor, Adeline Omura, age 20. Due to her young age, she often seeks advice from her best friend and Angelic Council Representative: Amari, the Angel of Love. 
There is but one solid law that all visitors to Loverli are expected to follow: "Love Each other". Due to the nature of the planet, many of the laws are far looser than most neighboring planets, taking on the ideal that you may have as much fun as you like, so long as you do not hurt anyone. Many substances and other illicit activities that are commonly illegal in other parts of the Trilian Galaxy are legal on this planet, for various reasons. Loverli is deeply invested in the galactic drug trade, importing on average more medical substances than any other planet in the Galaxy, hence their close alliance to the Candied Empire. 
Although many think that Loverli is a place run by debauchery and wild fantasy, the laws that are upheld are done so to near extreme measure. Because Loverli is a place where people come to forget their troubles, great lengths are taken to ensure nothing disturb their stay. Amari in particular has a deep distaste for physical violence, and will often use her powers to entice law breakers to touch her rather than others. An act that can easily be fatal. On rare occasions, the use of an underground dungeon is used for the lowest of criminals, again, presided over by Amari. This dungeon is inaccessible to the public, and no one who has been sentenced to the dungeon has never been seen again.

Defences

Although the planet does have a standing army, Loverli does not stack up to its particularly militaristic neighbors. Thanks to its economic ties to many other planetary governments, Loverli has seen many years of prolonged peace, however, in times of crisis, it is ultimately up to the royal family to defend the planet. With there only being one remaining member of the Omura family, skepticism has begun to arise on Loverli's stability. Despite this, many believe the young Queen of the planet shows great promise, despite lacking any formal combat training. This is thanks to an old legend, stating that members of the Omura family are able to literally break the hearts of their enemies with a single look. Although this is just a legend, the local population take it very seriously, and will often bow their heads if they should see the queen in public, both out of respect for the great power she holds, and admiration for her unrivaled beauty. 
Due to the galactic level alliance provided by the Angelic Council however, there is little speculation that an outside force would ever invade the planet. Amari acts as a keeper of the piece, as well as a delegate for the planet as a whole, second only to the queen herself. Among all the angels, Amari is one of the most fearesome. Those that are able to resist her love inducing powers would meet a swift end, should they ever attempt to touch her.

Industry & Trade

Loverli offers cruise ship tickets to all planets within the Trilian Galaxy, and on nearly every planet they sell out the instant they go up for sale. Some people even save up for their entire life just to be able to come aboard one of these lavish ships and enjoy a vacation on one of the most jubilant planets in the galaxy. The cruise ticket itself includes a fully furbished room aboard the ship, and access to all the amenities on-board, including casinos, saunas, and massage parlors. Once the cruise ship arrives, you have a three day weekend to enjoy on planet Loverli, experiencing the greatest joys life has to offer, though there are options to stay for longer. 
If one wishes to travel off the mainland, they can rent a gondola to traverse the sea and visit the smaller islands, each specializing in a particular type of 'pleasure' for one to indulge in. Brochures are easily available to review what each island offers, and locals are more than happy to offer their own favorites. Rest assured, almost anyone can find a place on Loverli to reignite the passion in their relationship, or even discover new love.

Infrastructure

Loverli prides itself on its evocative architecture and scenic vistas. Even the most humble of buildings are made in such a way to offer the perfect view to Loverli's crystal clear oceans and gleaming sunsets. As tourism and honeymooning are the planet's greatest export, there is no short supply of deluxe hotels and 'other' living arrangements, the most pristine (and most expensive) of these establishments even offer a view of the Loverli kingdom's white gold castle, perched atop the tallest mountain on the largest continent of the planet. Many critics describe the view of the castle glistening in under the glow of the setting sun "A must see before you die". 
Many aqueducts also traverse the planet's many cities, adding to the skyline while also supplying the population with purified water. It is said that if a newly wed couple exchanged glasses of Loverli's sparkling water, it will bring good luck to their marriage.

Assets

Because of the large flow of tourists Loverli sees on a yearly basis, there are many souvenirs and other related accessories on sale all over the planet. The most popular of these souvenirs is a Love Potion, created by the Angel of Love herself. Due to the potent effects of this potion, it is nearly always in high demand, and may even be impossible to find during peak tourist seasons. Loverli also sells specially made love enhancing chocolate, made in conjunction with Candied technology.

History

The Omura Kingdom, and thusly the centralized government of planet Loverli began thousands of years ago, when a meteorite crash landed on the planet's largest island. It was discovered by Mikael Omura, a young adventurer who had made it his goal to chart the entire planet from pole to pole. What he found at the center of the crater was a large, polished chunk of what appeared to be glass. Its unnatural reflection beckoned Mikael closer, and when he finally touched the hypnotic mirror, a beast arose to the sky, claiming that it would destroy all that it could see. Stunned and horrified, Mikael watched as the beast decimated the once pristine landscape, unable to comprehend what he had just unleashed onto the world. Although Mikael still did not fully understand what this creature was or what it wanted, he gave chase after it. Although he did not know how, the young Mikael thought that he might be able to trap this beast back within the mirror it came from, and attempted to lure it back from where it came.
Mikael faced off against the beast with not a drop of fear in his heart, for he knew that if this creature were to continue its onslaught on his homeland, he would lose far more than his own life. Mikael reached forth and grabbed the edge of the beast's wing, and, breaking off a shard of the meteorite, and sealing the creature back in its reflection. Unaware of how he had completed this feat, Mikael left the island in haste to tell others of what he had seen. Yet, when he told the first person of his heroic feat, they shattered like a sculpture. Mortified, Mikael looked around him, seeing how his footsteps cracked the dirt, how the flowers and grass blew away like sand in the wind. The young adventurer slowly came to understand that he had somehow inherited the beast's powers, and fearing that he too may destroy the world if left unchecked, hid deep within the caves to die alone and finally save his home for good. For what felt like years, Mikael traveled the deserted island alone, unable to enjoy any of life's offerings without it breaking before his very eyes. He longed to view a flower's bloomed petals, take in its delicate scent. He thought of his family, how he wanted nothing more than to hold them once more to his chest, to hear their voice and see their smile. The beauty of life had been stripped of him. He was destined to never experience beauty, love, or companionship again until the day he died.
He continued to trek across the countryside aimlessly, however, Mikael began to notice patterns in how things broke around them. How his surroundings reacted to his movements, to his thoughts. The inquisitive young man left for the mountaintops to try and fully understand this power, hoping that one day he might control it. Over the months and years, Mikael learned how he could manipulate his own curse, chiseling into the raw minerals of the mountain and refining them perfectly. By the end of his extensive experiments, Mikael had carved the entire mountain into a gleaming, brilliant castle. He stood atop the turret of his creation, looking down at the scenery down below. The rolling fields, glistening water... Mikael had to know.
Rushing down from atop his castle, Mikael sprinted into the fields, collapsing into the tall grass that tickled his skin. He was reduced to tears as he felt life's beauty once again, taking in the intricate sights, smells and feelings they provided, and that had been denied from him for so many years. Although his heart stopped for a moment when he thought of seeing other people once again, Mikael knew that it would be his ultimate test, if he had truly overcome this curse. Mikael sailed out to the nearest island, and rejoiced when he found a small village which he could tell his tale to. Although the people did not believe his escapades, when he brought them to his castle, they were rendered speechless.
Mikael inevitably accrued a following from those amazed by his mysterious powers and fantastical story, travelling from island to island as he shared the island and castle he immaculately carved with them all. When he finally reunited with his family, a celebration was held, both of the return of the missing Mikael, as well as his victory over the mysterious beast he faced. 
In the coming years, Mikael came to unite much of the once isolated islands on Loverli, being declared king unanimously by the people who praised and admired his heroic feats. Mikael lead the planet under one goal: to preserve and protect the beauty of life. Living the life of a hermit for years on end, Mikael came to appreciate the fragility of nature and beauty, and how easily it can be lost if not properly cared for. The first king of Loverli proclaimed that he would dedicate the rest of his life to defending the natural beauty of Loverli, a sentiment which his descendants follow.
The original meteorite which the beast came to Loverli on, which was later identified as an Anomaly, was turned into a large mirror, which remains protected in the castle's treasury to this day.

Geography

Loverli is known for its many mountain-islands, the largest of which is the capital, where all cruise ships dock and ship from. Its crystal clear seas almost never see a day of turbulence, as such it is common for individuals to utilize gondolas to travel from island to island. Loverli is also home to many iconic white sand beaches and scenic coasts, offering dazzling views of the island-dotted horizon.
