Greater Human

It is unknown what disaster brought down the human race of the first stellar era. What is known, however, is that this human race spread across the galaxy, leaving colonies and settlements heavily dependent on interstellar trade to survive. The humans of the Chord - even the Ameselans - all trace their biology and ancestry back to this Greater Humanity.

Anatomy

While all one species capable of producing viable offspring, the many peoples or sub-species of Greater Humanity are extremely diverse. All together, however, the basic human form is unaltered: four limbs, sexual dimorphism, gravitational tolerances of 0.3-1.4 Gs.
