The creating of the Academies.

To keep the powers of the world in awe, the Pantheon created four distinctive buildings on the four different shores of the land. They were well aware of the fact that it would take the greatest of their powers to keep away the magic in the world which had been set loose by The Journeyman in an act of revenge for being cast out from his home.
They took the rubies of the north, the emeralds of the south, the glistening diamonds of the east to fuse it together with the jets of the west. The stones erupted in a maelstrom of energy which laid the land deserted for millenials. It wasn't their intentions to do this to the land, but they hadn't considered the dangers that laid buried in the strange magic created by The Journeyman. It took them all of their willpower to get past the emotional barrier that had been created by the destruction, to continuing in building these Academies. If the strange magic could do this to a god, what could it do towards humans? They carried on in building the Academies, but in their hurry to get it finished, they missed something that had erupted from the blast...  
After the devastation the dust had settled and revealed to girls. Both of them lying naked on the burned ground. One with the most beautiful ashen hair, the other with the hair of jetblack colors. Their names were Duria and Nola. Duria had streaks of emerald green in her hair, while Nola had sparkles of ruby red in hers. But the most disturbing was the fact that both of them hummed with the power of the magic which the gods had tried to lock away forever. And even worse they had a metallic aroma surrounding them... the smell of magic.
