The Celestial Commonwealth

Several hundred years into the future, five alien races have found each other. The five alien races are as diverse as they are incredible. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses of course. With some able to perform what can only be classified as magic.   Spread out over thousands of lightyears, these five peoples have formed an area of space known as The Celestial Commonwealth. Different groups each have their own nicknames for the area. Together they have settled hundreds of worlds. But things are not all peaceful and harmonious as this might imply.   There are countless factions, organizations, and governments all working toward their independent goals. Many are a conglomeration of the species and worlds, but some are individual even autonomous or xenophobic in their workings. Planets themselves can have vast conflicts among members of their own races. It is a given that peace and collaboration and war and conflict are simultaneously coexisting across the giant expanse of The Celestial Commonwealth.   You are an elite team of the [organization], traveling across the cosmos you are tasked with dealing with the space mysteries that are wont to occur. Independent from any government, you help all equally - so long as they desire the assistance.
