Ihia grass
Ihia grass resembles a thick, round and rigid blade of grass, with miniscule purplish flowers that fade to black near the centre growing from bulbs directly attached to the sides of the stem.

Anatomy
Elliptical shoot with 10-24 small flowers growing on it’s sides.
Genetics and Reproduction
Each flower contains a hundred microscopic seeds, and after a month of adulthood, the flowers begin to break off in strong winds, their longer, whispy petals carrying them a short while in the wind, during which the flower’s seeds drop down, spreading over an even wider area, carried by the wind.
Growth Rate & Stages
Sprouts ~1 week after planting, grows directly upwards like a blade thrust from below, reaching adulthood in about another moon.
Ihia grasses wither and die another 2 moons later.

Annual, dying on the first frost.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
The flowerless shoots provoke subconscious illusionary powers, and are often used in Storyteller’s spirit. The nectar of the flowers contains a highly potent necrotoxin.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Preyed upon by a special insect called an opti beetle, which drink the sugary liquid inside of the shoots, projecting random illusions of images it’s seen.
