The Animists of Itzel
Itzel is famous for its human despising residents. They are isolationist merfolk who live off the land and keep back opposing forces with Divine Arts. The Itzel people have a fierce devotion to Ealdir, the God of Elements. These merfolk are also capable of wandering on land, different from their eastern cousins who cannot leave the water for long.
