Alchemy

Alchemy is the practice of using magic incantations and rituals to create energy, transmute materials and Alchemy is far less controversial than Sorcery when it comes to public perception. As a practice, it can be considered magic and there are many places that are opposed to it, but since its manifestation comes in the form of combining and transmuting materials, it isn’t really considered a transgression of the gods. In addition, it’s usefulness is too large to discard the practice.

Utility

Can be used to create medicine, potions, explosives, poisons, transmute things, conjure creatures and unleash elemental power. Can also be used to animate corpses, but the practice is highly taboo.

Access & Availability

Anyone with access to herbs and other ingredients can brew an alchemical substance.

Complexity

Alchemy requires extensive knowledge of magical, divine and chemical properties of different ingredients.
