Toracks - The Mad Titan and The Titan's Keys

Very little is actually known of Toracks the Mad Titan and how he created the Known Worlds - also referred to as the Titan's Keys but what is known (among certain circles - and perhaps less "known" and more "assumed") is in the form of a series of ten fables called The Collective Initiates beginning with the first one entitled "The Question of Mind" and ending with "The Journey Home".

Historical Basis

The basis for the legend comes from thousands of years ago where, it is said, a young girl was possessed by an aspect of Toracks every full moon for a period of one year when all the worlds of The Keys were aligned.
These periods of possession inspired the creation of a religious cult that tasked themselves with the recording of information and protection of the faith which survived for several hundred years before corruption and cruelty saw the destruction of the cult by decree.
Information over the last 1500 years or so has survived in some form and the present state of information is the result of efforts by Kingdom scribes, societies centered on ancient knowledge and the skills of those blessed with divination.

Variations & Mutation

There is a surprising lack of variations to the story.
Where there are changes it is more about the details that are included or left out.
For example, the Scribes say that once the Keys are reabsorbed into the consciousness of Toracks that all reality will end and a new one will be born.
The Seers do not include that in their explanations but they claim that there are other Titans and it was efforts to heal Toracks that sent Tizen upon its wandering path.

Cultural Reception

The "faith" of Toracks is accepted in passing with the most superstitious referring to Toracks as a way to defuse bad luck (as an example) but there is no overarching "belief" in Toracks with anything that approaches an organized dogma.
In fact - Tizen has its own divinity with a belief system that has nothing to do with acknowledging Toracks or anything to do with the creation legend.
