The Broken Sphere

A world nearly shattered by defiance and subdued by the tyranny of destiny, it has seen many great civilizations rise and fall. It's history filled with tales of great wars, world spanning disasters and inconceivable occurrences.   Throughout all of this mankind has survived and persevered, it's existed as a mere experiment by mysterious precursors desperate for knowledge, it's clung onto survival and fought for scraps against monstrous beings during a time of great calamity and expanded and adapted to tame a harsh unforgiving world.   Having struggled through all these hardships, humanity would come to enjoy the fruits of it's labour during a great ascension. Land was carved up and nations arose, ideas and technologies developed along with intricate cultures and religions.   Despite all this achievement however mankind still continues on, unaware that they are not the masters of their own fate and that to truly be free they will have to wage war on destiny itself.
