The world of the broken moon is the same as earth but it is changing and fast after a cataclysmic event the moon blowing up or shattering magic returned and long-suppressed creatures and gods came out of hiding these now roam the lands   with the shattering of the moon, "shardlings" appeared these have chosen some beings they have found to be desirable and now inhabit the players and others alike   with the moon disappearing some places appeared these places were
