The Broken Land

The Broken Land is an ancient world, who's civilizations had once reached a technological peak. Unfortunately, once the ancient people's scientists reached a pinnacle achievement of understanding inter-dimensional travel, they opened a door to realms they could never comprehend, causing their world to merge with another. This event is now so far past, that there are no longer even myths that surround the event.   Millennia passed, and as time rolled on, the magic that has entwined itself to the world, has brought forth beings and creatures of fantastical origin. Wizards and alchemists now bend the world in place of scientists. Tinkerers and engineers work with arcane focuses to create physics breaking marvels. The limits that once commanded this realm, have been utterly replaced.   Amongst ancient ruins, remnants of long lost technologies can still be found. There are hints to another time, another place, but have been mostly forgotten to the insanity of the time of the Great Merging. Now new civilizations rule, new adventures are to be had, as this great world joins the planar cosmos.
