The Code of the Night Market

The Code of the Night Market is a simple set of rules that govern all trade within the market itself.  They consist of three simple rules:
1) Quality is it’s own reward. Pass a dud coin to a merchant, or pawn off what turns out to be gold foil over lead within the boundary of the Night Market and the Canvas Men WILL find you. They deem it easier not not bother the City Watch with their concerns and instead find satisfaction in handling their own resolution.
2) Truth in the Balance. Those using doctored weights or resting a thumb where it shouldn’t will be lucky to only lose the thumb.
3) No refunds. All sales are final and recorded for the city tax collectors. The only exception to this would be if one of the first two codes has been voilated. You might not get a refund back, but you (our anyone else) will never be cheated by that merchant again.
