Endowin Pass

The most frequently used and most easily accessible pass north and south through the Pendalat Mountains and serving as a gateway between the Sun Sea to the south and the Andolas Valley region to the north.  In days of old it was left to it's craggy and treacherous walls to provide impromptu fortifications for defenders to withstand any invading forces.  With the fall of The Witch Kings, it was deemed necessary to provide more consistent and garrisoned defenses in the form of the two massive, heavily fortified gates set at either side of the crest of the pass.  The space between them quickly grew up into a town and Dualgate became a destination on the map of most trade routes.
