History

She was a North Sibini baby, but her parents wanted her to learn all of Taung. All intending to become a Judge herself but her mother and brothers completely gave up on her, she just wasn't interested in-laws and philosophy. Her interest was always in the moment, searching for a clever solution for short term goals. It was a point of frustration to her family but they couldn't break her of it, it led to a great many beatings from her mother whom she fought tool and nail and then eventually, nothing. 

The silence that fell on her was deafening and she was only six years old. The family moved to Sedibeng a position offering enough of a future that her sons were all but guaranteed power. She was seven when they moved into North Sibini. It was quite literally a dizzying experience. She was nervous, no one more than her tales which became a nuisance for the whole family to the point where the family hired a minder from Sibini. To her surprise the minder was quite knowledgeable in the inner workings of the world within North Sibini she also had family in other parts of Sibini which became like stories to her as she took them in she was tutored and asked for apprenticeships, using her mother's neglect to pull on the heartstrings of those around her, manipulating her into taking her anywhere she wanted. The first thing she wanted was to meet people, most importantly people with the land, the kids of the fellow wealthy. It was a culture shock to discover how studious the people of North Sibini were, and that was the whole tree.

Some jobs filled needs and some jobs changed the way people worked. Efficiency was a thing, a big thing, people connected, they did it for the sake of their efficiency. It was almost surreal, the sense of purpose, but it didn't come easy, there was a level of mistrust she had never seen before. If she was going to like the place, she was going to have to get to know people, be known. What better way was her mother. She got dresses, as many as she could, taking the best before going to a gala with her family. She met other girls and it was hard for her, but she had the exotic ard, things, and trinkets, which had never been seen before. It was exhausting but she did it, she'd made friends! They came to her home and gawked at how amazing her range was. That wasn't enough, she had to be clever and useful. She was, very. 

Everyone wanted to meet a judge and a good judge was not fully accessible but at the same time should have been known, most especially to those who were slow to trust. It was the best thing ever. She was useful to parents, mostly, kids had to like her. but so what, she was not playing the game to make friends. She was playing to win, she was playing for the right to say, while others simply did. She could not say 'do this' and they'd just do it. 

No, like her, people had pride, just like her, and there was a right way to talk to her and them. She was invited to many a ceremony by the Ndlovu house who ruled the entire tree. There was work to be done if she was going to get the attention, and even better there were girls her age right there. But there was a drawback. The Ndlovu House though the ruling was not the rulers of the North Sibini district. They'd closed ranks, them having private ceremonies to affirm their status, which they had a lot of. But she, even at her young age realized something was wrong, but could not articulate it. She needed Thula, aka Nokuthula Bantu, the young and brilliant future of The Bantu House. The Thula connection happened to her oldest brother's birthday. There was hers soon after was hers but that didn't matter to her family.
