The Thato House

This is the most powerful house in all of the Jongiwe tree. But no one knows that.

There are dozens upon dozens of people who come in and out of the Thato house, Aphiwe knows all of them despite not knowing the full reason behind their work. She knows of the packages too, but rarely what's inside.

She does know the package contain organic matter so dangerous that her mother and the couriers will cover their faces.

Design

The Main House has five rooms.

Master Bedroom

The room is large with a desk and an open area, a rug, and multiple toys.
On the outside, the room is very simple. But there’s so much to the room, with dozens of secrets, even the sharpest of eyes couldn’t find it with the most cursory of examinations.

But if you can figure out the trick to it, then there’s a great deal hidden. One example is the idea where the wall doubles in size when pulled from a specific point and from the ground more items in storage will be pulled. These are created to hide her secret goals that she’ll need the quickest access to.

Dining Hall

Then comes the dining hall, a large room with three tables. A tall table for Adults and nobles who came regularly to discuss. Then a slightly lower and smaller table for the workers and young upstarts and then finally a children's table. Small, round lots of space to play. Her dining room is not grand nor is it designed for grand events. It's designed for intimate family events which, depending on their mood can move in any direction. From ruckus fights to study sessions, designed to accommodate some of the sharpest minds in the entire Jongiwe tree. There is a great deal of good work done in the dining room.

Also if you look at the ceiling, you’ll see metal boards, which can be unhooked for the purpose of showing notes.

The Smoking Lounge

This is a smaller diminished room with a chimney and two doors. Of all the rooms there is no room in the house more exclusive to Thato's own enjoyment. Which seemingly from the inside lacks any security but holds multiple locks simultaneously. There are some of the largest collections of unique weapons in Sedi both hidden and visible.

The Study,

This room also has two doors, one leads to her room and another to the main passage. There’s a secret door. The study has thousands upon thousands of pages. Notes the size of your thumb and others large enough to fill a wall, all with a collection of inks that could fill a pool, neatly labelling and packed together.

The Kitchen

Is not being as much as long as it takes up a surprisingly large amount of the house, allowing many to work. The kitchen has with a massive pantry, which is colder than most understand. But warm enough to keep anyone from asking questions. Inside the pantry is a trap door which allows them to drop to the lower levels where the work facilitating a lie.

Aphiwe's Room

Aphiwe was not meant to be an only child, there were supposed to be multiple children in the house. Because Thato’s husband died and she put all her effort into her child. There is a king-sized bed that she and her friends share, but it lives on the ceiling, raised on spider silk. When raised it leaves a small bed that the girl sleeps alone in so that she doesn't 'drown' in her own sheets.
There are two trap doors, plus multiple contraptions that change the entire design of their home and a way into the top-secret super facility underground.
