Taung is the country of Gold where Gold reigns supreme. It is not event the nation's primary export but through intelligent efficiency and free and open trade within the territories.
This is only matched by the workshops which are able to refine goods in such an efficient manner than they are wanted from across the Black Thorne. So vital are their workshops there are industry set to move resources from the opposite side of the world to Taung just for it to go back far better than before.

Government
The Taung government is run by a monarchy led by Lord Gaba and his seven advisors of the Taung nation. They live and work in the center of Egoli.
Defences
There are no defences that the Taung Government has such as border walls or the type. What they have that potentially comes close are border posts that are designed to mark the borders and are generally run by those races that own the touching territory.
Industry & Trade
The people of Taung trade in food as their raw resource but mostly in technology and refineries, along with refined goods in order to trade them across the Black Thorne or use them themselves.
The Taung farming techniques are considered to be legendary but that does not mean that every farmer is rich. Mostly the farmers who rule over the most land do the best.
History
Despite the idea that Taung is peaceful it's creation was born of warring and bloodshed with emperors vying for control clashed together. eventually though when the competing nations clashed eventually though an act of unique cunning led to the dead of the heads of the opposing forces and a singular victor was claimed and the territories were distributed with humans taking most.
