Nomvula and her sister have never been competitive. There'd never been time. Both parents had raised them with a sense of urgency. They had books shoved into their faces, sent to training, put weapons in their faces. Then when they got older their parents put people in their faces. It was a dizzying amount of people. The lists of families names and lineages was diverse, from getting a hold of their history. Nomvula was good at this, her sister wasn't but she was the face of the Ndlovu-Sana tribe.

Unlike most siblings her parents went all out ensuring their youngest and sharp daughter did not break the party.
This put them together constantly, giving her power. It was something she struggled to keep in mind and something her mother was determined stick to, because it was vital The Ndlovu-Sana House not be divided.

Nomvula was locked in and never resented her sister, if not her mother, her father was her best friend and would never doubt him.

Instead her and her father worked together in becoming a masterful manager of finance and military, helping them. Brilliant at collecting and retaining information, while her sister broke shit down and made all the adventurous choices.
