A Crime Chapter 2, Rough and Tumble
The Khetshe women stood on her left and right, noses uncomfortably close to her. She held up a leather strap, her belt, one she’d owned since she was young and was proud still fit, sadly that was exactly reason she was holding it up, both women nodded eventually, pulling back. They had blind folds on, covering their faces.
“You’d bet on?” Said the one in pale blue fur, a wall of hunched muscles, bunched shoulders towering over Serano’s head.
“I’m in charge, I don’t get to take sides, you’re all on my side. And I know how terrible it sounds, Serano turned to the blue haired giant.
“I will say this. Vuka, I expect your best.”
Vuka’s fur seemed to stand at attention at that, a grin following seen after.

“Okay, here we go.”
Her belt was folded up into a ball and was filled into a sling shot it was fired into the deepest, darkest and most dense part of the forest. It almost immediately melted into the night.
Both women lunged forwards, sprinting as dozens upon dozens of women screamed and cheered. Serano stared wide eyed in shock, only she wasn’t exactly sure why she was shocked. Two Khetshe playing this game was not uncommon, no. The hairs on the back of her neck were at constant edge. She could hear the sounds of woods, and nature. Screeching and clicking, it was enough to run shivers down her spine.
The blackness was so deep, it was endless, once grim in her mind was drawing it to a tense atmosphere, like a serrated blade sawing into her.
The cheering became chaos, as the trees swayed and branches leaves snapped and broke apart under the chaos. Two silhouettes appeared and disappeared on and off. The reality of the game was that there was far more to it than sniffing out the belt, the pair, struggling, throwing each other with brutality and then Vuka appeared, slow walking to the light when a naked Afex jumped on her back and a ball of fur, to even her surprise, they bounced off of nothing both women seemingly flew, and spun in a roll that splattered right in front of her. Both women had the belt between their teeth. A draw would never be accepted.

“Nobody move! Keep biting until I say otherwise.”
She grabbed the belt by both their mouths.

“Okay, you can let go. I’m going to count teeth marks. Yes, teeth.”
She said staring hard at Afez, who obviously wanted to put up a massive fight as she panted like a maniac Serano counted.

“24 for Vuka, 23 for Afez, Vuka wins!”
Cheers exploded upwards, spreading, and vibrating through the campsite.
It was time to go, the mood could not be lingered in.
Taking mammoth breaths, she lifted both under dressed women under her, one per arm, walking them away.
She entered her tent and literally tossed them on her bed and lay next to them.

“Why’d you count teeth,” Afez panted out, her hands over her chest as she breathed heavily.
“Why does it matter.” Vuka asked.
Afez sat up and showed her fanged four strong front cannines and behind were only three curved canines, instead of four.
Now it was Vuka to stand up.

“Oh my goodness!”
Serano literally grabbed her nose, pulling down to shut her up.

“You’re a commander, the fact that I let you play with them is a miracle.”
“It was literally your idea!” Afez cried out.
“No one cares about your complaints, at all. Here’s the point, a commander like Vuka needs to win. In fact, I expected you Afez to fake a loss. This is still the duty of a lesser commander.”
“They why did you ask her to do her best?”
“So you’d still have to sweat for it, but you lost yourself and still couldn’t pull a win.”
“So you expected me to need her help to win in a fight against her?” Vuka asked genuinely hurt.
Serano had expected offences but, not such blatant hurt. It was time to be a commander. There was nothing, so she’d try a second plan.

“Vuka, you don’t understand, I mean that I knew how she played before. I expect you to play and win, the point was to win by a close margin, not play to a draw, you should explain to me why you did not heed my warning? It’s one thing to be prideful, another to ignore my warnings.”
