The Kemetic Empire
The Black Sands of Life
Kemet was once an uncivilized savage land full of refugees and cannibals. A Kushite warlord name Anthos founded its first city but it wasn't until Rah, the first Pharaoh appeared. He crushed all opposition and forced peace among the many people across Kemet. With an unflinching dedication to duty, citizens of the kingdom do not try to elevate themselves past their family tradition, for all roles in Kemet are considered necessary and honorable.
I am faithful to my purpose as my people are to theirs.
The Black Sands
Most of the cities in Kemet are founded on the banks of the Nile river or along canals created from it. The Nile river causes the sand to turn black and extremely fertile. This is why food is so abundant in the Kingdom and why foreigners come to trade for their resources. The Red Sands
It is rare to see anything other than tombs built in the red sand dunes of Kemet. The people dare not travel too deep into the abyss, for many tales are told of the curse of the red death. The Nile Delta
The Delta is formed from many branching paths of the Nile River. The land is wild with jungle like topography. It is common for foreigners to settle in these lands and they are considered lawless regions by most of the citizens of Kemet. Only a few official cities reside in the Delta.Structure
The Kemetic Empire is a monarch society where power is handed down from a ruler to his kin. Being mostly a patriarchy, most leadership roles fall in the hands of men but women in society are surprisingly powerful, especially in the household.
Power is broken down into three tiers, followed by a variety of lower level positions of equal worth.
- Pharaoh
- Cult of Nun
- Military
Public Agenda
Order is the top priority of the Kemetic Empire. The Pharaoh has set strict guidelines to control the people who come from many backgrounds and cultures. There is no mobility in society. One must live as he/she was meant to and they would be honored in this life and the next for fulfilling their duties.

Prior to Rah's reign, the lands of Kemet were in constant strife. This lead to constant culture clashes and even cannibalism. This was a savage time.
