What was once an information brokering tea house has long transformed into something more far reaching. After successfully exacting revenge on an organization known the Hirata the members of the Garden had found themselves in the far east no coin to their name. The conflict had ravaged both resources and manpower, leaving them to survive on the bare minimum afforded from the success of the lengthy and deeply expensive operation. Jun Raizo, the present leader, stepped down having finished her revenge and lacking the purpose to continue leading the company towards its next chapter. Jun ceded the organization to a young Miqo'te named A'kata Yohko. Taking up the mantle of leadership at the company's most trying times, A'kata rallied the remaining members and began to take whatever jobs they could find.
Initially work was difficult to find. With little contacts and friends in the eastern reaches the company had turned to taking jobs with the criminal underground. Some could not stomach the work and morals soon began to interfere in the way of profits, hampering progress and work. Thinking hard on an alternative and setting those thoughts into motion the group was able to strike an accord with the resistance cells of Doma and Kugane. Through countless demonstration of martial prowess and skill, serving as both strike forces and scouts against the garlean incursion, the group was able to establish themselves as a lasting recognised force.
With the war winding down in Doma the company was sent deep into Xaelian territory to deal with a roving ship plaguing the residence. The vessel in question was attempting to stir up the locals hoping to start a civil war and bring instability to the region. Cornering the Garleans and with the aid of the local tribes the group was able to storm the ship and take the Rocinanate for themselves.
From this point the crew would quickly begin to tie up any loose ends finishing their remaining contracts in the east only to finally begin their journey home. With their new home, the Rocinanate, the crew was able to take on a breadth of work including treasure hunting, mercenary work, and privateering. At present the ship has been placed and is still under contract to be used by the Admiralty of Limsa for privateering actions when required.
