I have been working away at some of the more abstract, Eshanic elements of the story, revisiting some larger storylines and attempting to expand from them. Chief among the questions was this- what happens to Eshan when they die? I had always possessed a simple understanding of it, that they might just disperse their power, etc. but that appeared to be an understatement of possibilities. I could do better. In undertaking this writing (and reaching page 1331 in the process) I believe I've pushed in new direction. This is the purpose of writing something long and in depth rather than many short stories, after all.
