Gender Ideals

During the Proto-Lotan period, gender and sex were vastly different things. Growing up, a child would be assigned a gender that most aligned with their personality. If they were the third gender (categorization), most often they would be assigned a gender that was aligned with their sex, but not always, and at times despite that they would act like the opposite gender.

Courtship Ideals

If a woman was interested in a man, she would have to persuade him to marry her.
