Of all the tribes in the Arengold Forest, none are more sacred then the Treekeepers. These 4 Druids are the group whose entire lives are spent ensuring that the Arengold Tree does not perish. Their holy duty is the protection of the roots that all live on, the vines that feed families, and the trunk that shelters thousands.

Treekeepers are Druids, meaning they are in tune with the magic of nature itself. On the Arengold Forest, this means they primarily get their magic from Filli, who develops all matters of ancient, natural magic. She gives them the power to heal the tree and even let it grow where it has been trimmed.

Without the Treekeepers, no civilization would be able to use the Tree's bark for building or the creation of weapons. They see the bark as an infinite resource. They are correct, as the Treekeepers ensure that the bark grows back in a timely manner.

Because of this, all tribes look to the Treekeepers – not for civilized growth, but for advice on what they may do to and for the Arengold Tree. The Treekeepers are the ones who are most in tune with the planet that all tribes live on, and thus have the greatest advice on what should be allowed and what shouldn't. They are also knowledgeable about the movement of animals across the surface, making them crucial for tribes that hunt animals for their primary food source.

The Four Treekeepers

The Treekeepers, while a close-knit organization, are located on the North, South, East, and West of the Arengold Tree. They include the following members.

• To'Volar, the Northern Elven Treekeeper.
• Gust, the Southern Human Treekeeper.
• Geck, The Western Orcish Treekeeper.
• Kois, the Eastern Dwarven Treekeeper.

Other Members of the Treekeepers

While the four druids are the Treekeeper organization, there is a lot more to it. There are aides and helpers who work to deliver messages from the Treekeepers to other tribes, such as The Lumbergobs. There are also chefs and masseuses. They are very need-heavy people, the Treekeepers. To be an aide for these four beings is considered a very large honor, and many will gladly leave their tribes and previous lives to do so.
