The Five Gods of the Arengold Forest
Filli, the Worldpainter
The youngest of the 5 gods, though not by much. She constructed the Arengold tree, and is thus the most worshipped of all. Her kindness and curiosity are matched only by her naïvety.
Jöreg, creator of the Skies
The eldest of the gods, and wed to Ïllume. Jöreg ensured that the world his daughter would build on is safe and secure. His joy at watching his daughter work is marked as the best conduit for healers, and his care for the humanoids on the plane make him often sought after for wisdom.
Ïllume, bringer of Light
The second god to be created, and wed to Jöreg. Before Ïllume, Jöreg was lost in darkness and knew not what could be done with the universe. Ïllume's light proveded Jöreg with the knowledge needed to construct the worlds, and set the tone for creation across the Arengold Forest. While not often worshipped, those who love the sun and all the creatures under it know to credit Ïllume.
Ïorreg, the Rainmaker
Without rain, there can be no life. Without water, there can be no growth. Jöreg had no tasks for the goddess Ïorreg, and was largely considered to be a mistake. That is, until Filli's attempts to create life. Ïorreg is the only thing stoppping the death of the Arengold Tree and all living things on it. She is the patron goddess of healing and exploration, and is thus often worshipped alongside Filli, especially by older and more cynical clerics.
Dumgarth, the Canvas Forger
The Canvas Forger is often neglected by the humanoids that worship the gods. This is despite being the sole reason that Filli could plant the Arengold Tree in the first place. Dumgarth is most worshipped by those who love the metal scattered across the top of the Arengold Tree, and warmongers find him to be critical to their dominance of the other races. Since Elves dominate the higher sections of the Arengold Forest, he is only really worshipped by them and Orcs.
