The Alnest

Vast swaths of forests flood the world with oxygen. Big arthropods roam over the lands, skies and seas of Alnest.   However, there is one particular mammal, that has survived The Great Dying! These creatures are a very intelligent, inventive and highly invasive specie. They have awoken from their eternal slumber and emerged to the surface out of their nests buried deep within the bowels of the Alnest. They proudly call themselves imago cognitis or the discerning imago.   Just like a butterfly after a long pupal stage preparing to take flight, the civilization of imago is adapting to this new world and is now spreading its wings over the continents of Alnest!   Giant beetles plow their fields and scarabs power the mills. Ranchers milk aphids for honeydew. Riders race on centipedeback. Noble imagi wear silk robes decorated with moth fur and soldiers are equipped with ironclad beetle armor and stinger spears. Bridges are erected with spider silk. From within their royal nests mighty queens declare wars and sign trade agreements with other queendoms.       Dispersed around the Alnest, several bizarre sites started to appear, hiding incredible treasures within them - Life Stones. Those that ingest these mysterious stones will obtain the incredible power of super symbiosis. Different queendoms are sending their best champions to conquer the sites and extract the Life Stones.
