MOVID-16 vaccination (Moh-vid-sic-steen vak-sin-ay-shun)

The MOVID-16 vaccination is a breakthrough prevention for the Moronavirus. It contains a small dead strain of the MOVID-16 virus and can be injected, consumed, or applied to the skin, depending on the species that is being vaccinated.   The vaccine must be taken two times, one to two months apart to be fully successful, again depending on species. With some species, the dosing is thought to need repetition, possibly every year, until the virus can be wiped out.

Utility

Most species have it injected into them, normally on a limb near their head. The next most common way of vaccination is via injestion, either as a solid or liquid. Finally, some species have it applied to their body as a cream or lotion, allowing it to sink in through their skin. For species which can be vaccinated in multiple ways, a choice is given.

Manufacturing

The vaccine is generally easy to manufacture.
Access & Availability
The vaccine is available across the Galactian Prime. It has not yet been exported to non-member species. The vaccine is available for free in most societies, although in some societies, where the leaders of the society have been found to be suffering from it themselves, vaccination either costs money or is in 'limited' availability, so as to prevent vaccination. These places are often valuing herd immunity, which they seem to think is only ever a result of catching the virus, over vaccination... Which provides herd immunity.
Complexity
The vaccine is not that complex. It consists of a dead strain of MOVID-16 which, upon entering the body of a person, enables their immune system to fight off the virus should it encounter it in the future.
