Kao Mher

Geography

Kao Mher is generally composed of large archipelagos, peninsulas and islands. Deep bays, inner seas and rivers are abundant in this continent. Its lush climate combined with the warm weather provides an excellent home for a jungle biome. The jungles of Kao Mher are mysterious and dangerous. Strong arcane current flow there, interacting with the enviroment. This causes Kao Mher to host many fantastical geographical sites.

Fauna & Flora

Kao Mher is unique in many aspects mostly because of its enormous diversity of Flora and Fauna.   Jungles and dense forests are dominant and encompass nearly every plant accustomed to the warm and moist weather. Trees grow so large, the tops canot be seen from the ground, reaching hundreds of meters high. Underbrush is generally thick and nearly impassable. Ancient Kiz Yiarei records describe forests so dense that the ground is void of sunlight and instead lit by enormous patches of bioluminescent fungus and wildlife. Because of the near impassable terrain and dangerous plant and wildlife that inhabits much of Kao Mher, large swathes of land remain unexplored.   It is said that Kao Mher is home to enormous dinosaurs roaming the jungles and inner plains of the continent. Few dare to venture out and lay eyes on these formidable beasts. It is said they lay eggs large enough to hold a grown man and that some are capable to rend apart one in a single swipe. These beasts are covered in thick hides that can be processed into extremely durable leather. This causes small bands of mercenaries to venture out and plan expeditions to fell these great beasts and turn them into profit. Needless to say, few return from these trips.
